By Bus - East 96th Street Crosstown bus to the last stop, the East River at 97th Street and First Avenue, which is close to the water on that part of Manhattan Island.

By Subway - Lexington Avenue #6 train to East 96th Street, walk east down the hill, or take the bus (above).

Walk under the FDR highway and across its exit ramp, onto The East River Esplanade. That is where our Go-Fish and rowing activities take place. You will also see our Davit by the water there, the boat hoist that gets the boats in and out of the water.

Directions to The Container/Boathouse near East 95th Street on the FDR Access Road

Walk east of First Avenue on 96th Street, and just before walking under the FDR highway, turn right onto the southbound FDR access road (which merges onto York Avenue). Our large green shipping container is on the sidewalk adjacent to the fence alongside Stanley Isaacs Park. It is the southermost and largest of the two green containers, and its south entrance is where we can be found before or after rowing.

Rowers are expected to take part in shoreside activities on the Esplanade or at the Container/Boathouse, either preparing or putting the boats away, before or after rowing. Volunteers and guests are welcome to help as well!

Directions

Rowing and Go-Fish locations are at East 96th Street and the River, on The East River Esplanade, New York City.
